"bluf": "MITRE ATT&CK T1482 (Domain Trust Discovery) is an Enterprise Discovery technique. Adversaries may attempt to gather information on domain trust relationships that may be used to identify lateral movement opportunities in Windows multi-domain/forest environments. Domain trusts provide a mechanism for a domain to allow access to resources based on the authentication procedures of another domain. Domain trusts allow the users of the trusted domain to access resources in the trusting domain. Affected platforms: Windows. MITRE-documented mitigations include M1047 Audit, M1030 Network Segmentation. The Center for Threat-Informed Defense maps this technique to NIST SP 800-53 Rev 5 controls AC-04, CM-02, CM-06, CM-07, RA-05, SA-08, SA-17, SC-07.",
