  "bluf": "The Administrative Dispute Resolution Act, codified at Title 5 of the United States Code, Chapter 5, Subchapter IV (Alternative Means of Dispute Resolution in the Administrative Process), is the principal federal statute authorising federal agencies to use alternative dispute resolution procedures and is administered through the Administrative Conference of the United States. Administrative Dispute Resolution Act, 5 U.S.C. 571 contains the definitions used in the subchapter. Administrative Dispute Resolution Act, 5 U.S.C. 572 provides general authority: an agency may use a dispute resolution proceeding for the resolution of an issue in controversy that relates to an administrative program, if the parties agree to such proceeding. Administrative Dispute Resolution Act, 5 U.S.C. 573 governs neutrals: a neutral may be a permanent or temporary officer or employee of the Federal Government or any other individual who is acceptable to the parties to a dispute resolution proceeding. Administrative Dispute Resolution Act, 5 U.S.C. 574 establishes the confidentiality protections: except as provided in subsections (d) and (e), a neutral in a dispute resolution proceeding shall not voluntarily disclose or through discovery or compulsory process be required to disclose any dispute resolution communication. Administrative Dispute Resolution Act, 5 U.S.C. 575 authorises arbitration: arbitration may be used as an alternative means of dispute resolution whenever all parties consent. Administrative Dispute Resolution Act, 5 U.S.C. 576 provides that an agreement to arbitrate a matter to which the subchapter applies is enforceable pursuant to section 4 of title 9 (the Federal Arbitration Act).
