This regulation sets out the technical screening criteria, including do no significant harm (DNSH) conditions and minimum social safeguards, for extractive activities related to critical raw materials to qualify as environmentally sustainable under the EU Taxonomy. It applies to undertakings engaged in mining operations enabling the low-carbon transition, as defined in Article 10 of Delegated Act (EU) 2021/2139.
