This Directive combats unfair trading practices in the agricultural and food supply chain that grossly deviate from good commercial conduct (Article 1). It prohibits a list of unfair practices outright, such as late payments for perishable products and last-minute cancellations, and conditionally prohibits others unless clearly agreed (Article 3).
