What UK Building Regulations 2010 - Approved Documents, Building Control, and Structural Requirements requires
The Building Regulations 2010 (SI 2010/2214) made under the Building Act 1984 set out the minimum functional standards for building work in England. Building control approval is provided either through the local authority building control (LABC) service or by a registered building control approver (RBCA) formerly known as an approved inspector.
