What Human Tissue Act 2004 requires
The Human Tissue Act 2004 requires that any removal, storage or use of human tissue for scheduled purposes-including biobanking-must be performed only with appropriate consent (Section 3 for adults, Section 2 for children) and under a licence issued by the Human Tissue Authority (Section 16).
