What Title 47 CFR Part 15: Radio Frequency Devices requires
This regulation establishes technical standards, certification requirements, and operating conditions for unlicensed radio frequency (RF) devices in the United States to ensure they do not cause harmful interference to authorized radio services. Per §15.5, devices must not cause harmful interference and must accept any interference received, including that which may cause undesired operation.
