What Nebraska Data Privacy Act (LB 1294) requires
The Nebraska Data Privacy Act (NDPA) grants Nebraska residents rights to access, correct, delete, and obtain a copy of their personal data, and to opt out of the sale of personal data, targeted advertising, and certain profiling. The Act applies to entities conducting business in Nebraska or targeting Nebraska residents that, in a calendar year, control or process personal data of at least 20,000 consumers, or control or process data of at least 10,000 consumers and derive over 25% of gross revenue from selling personal data (Section 3).
