What New Jersey Data Privacy Act (P.L.2023, c.266) requires
The New Jersey Data Privacy Act (NJDPA) applies to controllers conducting business in NJ or targeting NJ residents who control or process personal data of at least 100,000 consumers, or 25,000 consumers if they derive revenue from selling data (Section 3). The Act grants consumers rights to access, correct, delete, and opt-out of the processing of their personal data for targeted advertising, sale, or profiling, and mandates recognition of universal opt-out mechanisms.
