What EU AI Act Article 53 - Obligations for Providers of General-Purpose AI Models requires
EU AI Act Regulation 2024/1689 Article 53 establishes baseline obligations for all providers of general-purpose AI models placed on the EU market, requiring them to draw up and maintain technical documentation specified in Annex XI, to make available to downstream providers integrating the GPAI model into their AI systems the information and documentation necessary to comply with their EU AI Act obligations, to establish a policy to comply with Union copyright law including the text and data mining exception, and to publish a sufficiently detailed summary of the content used for training the model.
