What ILO Convention No. 102 (C102) - Social Security (Minimum Standards), 1952 requires
ILO Convention No. 102 sets the minimum standards for the nine branches of social security (medical care, sickness, unemployment, old-age, employment injury, family, maternity, invalidity and survivors benefits). A ratifying State must accept Part I and at least three branches including one of the long-term or unemployment branches, secure benefits to prescribed classes of protected persons, guarantee minimum benefit levels, and accept general responsibility for the proper administration and financing of the schemes.
