ILO Convention No. 146 entitles seafarers to annual leave with pay of a specified minimum length of not less than 30 calendar days for one year of service, with a proportionate entitlement for shorter service, exclusion of public holidays and sick leave from the leave, payment of normal remuneration, and protection of the entitlement including on termination of employment.
