What ILO Convention No. 161 (C161) - Occupational Health Services, 1985 requires
ILO Convention No. 161 requires States to formulate, implement and periodically review a coherent national policy on occupational health services and to progressively develop such services for all workers, with essentially preventive functions advising employers, workers and their representatives on maintaining a safe and healthy working environment, while preserving the confidentiality of personal health data and the multidisciplinary, independent character of the services.
