What Convention on Registration of Objects Launched into Outer Space requires

This regulation requires each launching State to maintain a national registry of space objects it launches and to provide specific data to the United Nations Secretary-General for entry into the UN Register. It applies to all States that launch or procure the launching of space objects, or from whose territory or facility objects are launched, under Article II and Article IV.
